
Terrorist Tehwavur Rana was brought to India.
Tawwur Rana, accused of the Mumbai terror attack, has been brought to India from America on Thursday. Rana has been brought to Delhi by special aircraft. The NIA has informed that Tawwur Hussain Rana, accused of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, has been formally arrested at Palam Airport in Delhi. He will be taken directly to court from the airport. At the same time, now it has also been revealed who will represent Tehwwur Rana in the court.
Lawyer’s name surfaced
According to the information given by PTI, Delhi Legal Services lawyer Piyush Sachdeva will represent the terrorist Tahawwur Rana in the 26/11 Mumbai attack in the court. Tahwwur Rana will be taken directly from the airport to Patiala House Court. Rana will be produced in the court of Special Nia Judge Chandrajit Singh. On the other hand, the Center has appointed Advocate Narendra Mann as Special Public Prosecutor for the operation of 26/11 Mumbai attacks and other cases.
Tehwavur Rana arrested in these sections
Tahwwur Rana has been arrested under Section 120B, 121, 121A, 302, 468, 471 and UAPA under sections 16,18 and 20 of the IPC. The NIA registered a case in this case on 11 November 2009. The NIA has made Phoolproof security arrangements to take Tahwwur Rana to the NIA headquarters from Delhi Airport. SWAT commandos of Delhi Police Special Cell are posted at Delhi Airport. From the airport, Tahwwur Rana will be taken to the NIA headquarters in a bulletproof vehicle.
Rana will be questioned at NIA headquarters
Terrorist Tahawwur Rana will be questioned at the NIA headquarters. An inquiry cell has been prepared at the NIA headquarters. Only 12 members associated with the investigation are allowed to go to this cell. It includes DG NIA Sadanand Date, IG Ashish Batra, DIG Jaya Roy. If any person comes to meet, he will have to get permission first.
