A shocking news is coming out from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, here a Dalit girl had to face caste discrimination in the temple of education. The girl studying in class 8 of SC was excluded from her school in class 8 only because she belongs to another caste and came to her first menstruation of her life. The girl’s mother made a full video of this incident and complained to the education authorities about the incident.
Private school actions
According to TOI, a girl from Scheduled Castes (Arunthiyar) in Coimbatore was seated to take the exam out of class at a private matriculation school near Kininathukdavu taluk. When the girl told her mother this, she was placed outside during the examination on the second day, which her mother made a video. Please inform that the incident took place with a girl studying in Swami Chibhadwanda Matric Higher Secondary School in Senguttipalam village of Kininathukdavu taluk.
Two days out of class
The girl got her first menstrual period on 5 April. Then only two days after that, that is, on 7 April, he had a science paper, in which he was placed outside. Then on 8 April, he was also put out of class during the social science examination.
Talking to TOI, a Dalit worker said that the girl informed the mother about the incident on the evening of 7 April. When the mother went to school the second day, she saw that her daughter was again seated outside the class to take the exam. He recorded the incident with his mobile camera. Then on Wednesday night, this video went viral on social media.
The District Magistrate has talked about action
Regarding the case, District Collector of Coimbatore Pawan Kumar Ji Giriappanwar said that Coimbatore Rural Police has started investigating the incident. The school inspector was asked to submit a detail report to the district administration. Strict action will be taken against the school management regarding the matter.
